SOIL TYPES

Sandy soil with markedly uneven surface. 40 years old on average, featuring the typical reddish colour. Soil moisture found at a depth of 40-50 meters.

THE VINEYARD

40 years old on average, mainly planted to goblet system.

CLIMATE

Atlantic continental type with cold winters and hot summers.

RAINFALL

Average.

WINEMAKING

Grape selection at the vineyard, fermentation runs at a controlled temperature of 24ºC (75ºF) for 15-20 days. Constant pumpovers. Aged in American oak barrel for 12-14 months, malolactic fermentation completed in barrels. Bottle refined for 23 months prior to its release to the market. Light filtering followed by wine bottling.

 

TASTING NOTES

SIGHT

Ruby cherry colour with great depth and good intensity.

NOSE

Complex, clean, roasting notes.

TASTE

Elegant, fleshy, tannic, full-bodied, sweet tannins and round.
