SOIL TYPES

Sandy soil with markedly uneven surface. 40 years old on average, featuring the typical reddish colour. Soil moisture found at a depth of 40-50 meters.

THE VINEYARD

40 years old on average, mainly planted to goblet system.

CLIMATE

Atlantic continental type with cold winters and hot summers.

RAINFALL

Average.

WINEMAKING

Grape selection at the vineyard, fermentation runs at a controlled temperature of 24ºC (75ºF) for 10 days. Constant pumpovers. Aged in American oak barrel for 3-4 months, malolactic fermentation completed in barrels. Bottle refined for 3 months prior to its release to the market. Light filtering followed by wine bottling.

 

TASTING NOTES

SIGHT

Cherry colour with great depth and light shades of ageing. .

NOSE

Varietal expression, complex, fruity, well-assembled bouquet of medium wood.

TASTE

Fleshy, tannic, full-bodied, supple and round
